Ralph Lauren Spring 2024​

A recent, large scale project I worked on at Oliphant studio was painting over forty, 23’x 26’ pieces for Ralph Lauren’s Spring show at the Brooklyn Navy Yards.

 

Painted almost entirely in an adjoining warehouse at the Navy Yards, the work was made by pouring watered down acrylic paint into raw canvas, then rolled out using natural sponge rollers to produce subtle, drapable backdrops that resembled old drop cloths and tarps found in a barn.
